WE BELIEVE
- In one God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(The Godhead is co-existent and co-equal in power and authority.) - Jesus is the second person of the Godhead and is Savior, Redeemer, and King.
- We believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary).
- In the physical death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- The Bible is the inerrant word of God. Each of the sixty-six canonical books, including the old and new testaments, were recorded or penned by men as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit. And as such the Word of God holds supreme authority regarding faith and life. (Scripture references).
- In the new birth which is the salvation experience described by Jesus himself in John 3:3.
- In healing (physical, emotional, spiritual) provided in the new covenant.
- In the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of those who believe.
- When Jesus ascended to Heaven, he gave gifts to followers. These gifts are to be used to minister to those in church and the unchurched).
- In the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.
- In the sacrament of water baptism.
- In the sacrament of foot washing.
OUR PASTORS
Burt and Mary Rosenberger are both natives of Baltimore. Born and bred here, they love this city. They are just like most neighbors who simply love a good hot steamed Maryland crab, going ‘down the ocean’ and, watching the Ravens football.
They are down-to-earth, loving, kind, and believe in living life according to the principles of the holy scriptures. They have a passion for people and will journey with you as you walk through life while extending a hand of grace in your quest to find answers to life’s toughest questions. The foundation of their ministry is built upon offering hope through teaching the truths of the Bible, praying for others, and offering the ministry of presence. They are hands-on shepherds who walk amongst the sheep. They are truly approachable with a warm presence. Children and families are their passion and they are determined to help families stay strong and rooted in their faith, while they endeavor to raise children in a culture that is increasingly hostile to traditional family values.
Both Burt and Mary are licensed ministers in the state of Maryland. They have served in various capacities of leadership for over 20 years, both at Life Source Church International, and a local city church. Mary is an intercessor leader and has served as Prayer Coordinator for the Delmarva region. After being faithful for many years, the Lord released them to launch Emergent Church and Ministries in 2017.
